  WORST Customer Service, EVER. I have never observed or been the recipient of worse customer service than I had tonight at this store. While I'm all for a business's right to refuse service, and I'm definitely a believer in asking to see an ID, I also know there is no legal reason a liquor store would not be able to sell a non-alcoholic item to someone accompanied by an underage person who did not have an ID. So to be yelled at, belittled, and publicly humiliated by a clerk without a clear explanation for that treatment was shocking, offensive, and certainly grounds for complaint. Even after nicely asking if there were some regulation in Nebraska I might be unaware of which might explain the clerk's reaction, I was very forcibly told to "Go back to Wyoming and buy your liquor there!" (Again, I was not trying to purchase liquor. Only a drink mix.) I'm sad this happened and that the clerk felt I was trying to argue with her. (I /really/ hate conflict, so if my question came across as being argumentative, it was certainly not intentional) I have never been so humiliated in my life, and wish she would have at least given a reason for acting that way. When I walked out of the store, two of the other patrons were laughing at me and pointing. I hope no one else ever has an experience like that at this tiny shop - especially since this is such a small town with very few shopping options. Unfortunately, "Small Town Charm" certainly does NOT apply in this case. Hopefully the clerk was just having a bad or stressful day and does not make a habit of acting that way.
